I offer a personal service designing and making contemporary furniture for those wanting something special.

I work closely with my clients designing furniture that is complementary to its surroundings. By keeping the lines simple and picking up details from the immediate environment the furniture can suit any style of home.

In making my approach is to use long established constructional methods blended with other techniques made possible by modern machinery and materials. This also allows for to today's usage. For example a drawer on fully extending runners can be used to store CDs whereas a traditionally made drawer would not function.

The timber I use is obtained from sustainable sources and is mainly temperate hardwoods like oak, ash, maple and cherry. Should a more exotic timber be needed these are now coming from properly managed forests.
